Tamma Wynn Corzine Harris

Tamma Wynn Corzine Harris, finished her race here, and entered into the presence of Jesus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, at the age of 67.

She was born on October 4, 1957 in Metropolis, Illinois to William and Maxine Corzine.

Tammy was a Physical Therapist for 41 years, working in home health for the majority of that time. She was an accomplished pianist and singer, and a world class cook. According to her grandchildren, she made the best brownies in the world.

Above all things, Tammy was the best wife, mother, and grandmother in the world. She was selfless and never thought to put herself first in anything. She was the perfect example of a servant’s heart.

As a pastor’s wife, she was the most supportive cheerleader and encourager. As the mother of 2 pastors, she was so proud of her sons, and their ministry. She did her best to go to church with them online as well as always being faithful in attendance and service to her home church, Trinity Pentecostal Church in Central City, Kentucky where she was the pianist, worship leader, and Adult Sunday School teacher.

Of all the hats she wore, being a grandmother to 8 “perfect” grandchildren (her estimation) was her favorite. And she wore it well. They all will rise and called her “blessed.”

Tamma is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alan Harris, her sons, Ryan (Shontae) Harris of Danville, Illinois, and Tyler (Kayla) Harris of Adairsville, Georgia, her eight grandchildren, Jentezen, Madison, Weston, Judah, Easton, Emberson, Blakelyn, and Seazen, her adopted daughter, Michelle (Samuel) Vincent of Central City, Kentucky, her adopted grandson, Austin Vincent, several nieces and nephews, and a whole host of friends who felt like family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maxine Corzine.

The family will receive guests at a visitation on the evening of Friday, October 25, 2024 from 5 – 8 PM in the main sanctuary of 2nd Baptist Church in Greenville, Kentucky.

We will celebrate her life with friends and family at a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10 AM in the main sanctuary of 2nd Baptist Church in Greenville, Kentucky with Bro. Alan Harris officiating, assisted by Bro. Ronnie Baker, Bro. Ryan Harris, and Bro. Tyler Harris.

There will also be a 2nd visitation on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 10 AM to Noon at Wilson Funeral Service in Karnak, Illinois followed by a Graveside Service at Cypress Cemetery in Cypress, Illinois.

Though our hearts are broken for our loss, we rejoice in knowing that Tamma is whole and happy in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
