Melinda Renee Corzine gained her heavenly wings January 14, 2026. She passed peacefully at home with her children by her side, at the age of 64.
Melinda was born April 21, 1961 to Anice (A.E) and Janice Corzine. She graduated from Century High School in1979. Melinda loved her plants, her pets, cooking and spending time with her family.
Melinda is survived by her sisters, Pamela (Jerry) McSorley of Vienna, Illinois and Tamela (Carl) Lingle of Dongola, Illinois; her children, Heather (Jason) Brown of Scott City, Missouri, Michael (Natalie) Brown of Anna, Illinois; grandchildren, Charlie (Tommy) Whitaker, Caitlyn (Brandon) McClanahand, Jessilyn (Kenin) Hettenhouser, Michaela Brown, Arika Brown and Brayden Brown; great-grandchildren Scarlett, Haylee, Willow, Maisley, Violet and Karolyn.
She was preceded and death by her parents, A.E. and Janice Corzine and beloved great-grandchild Lisa Hettenhouser.
Per the family’s request, cremation was accorded with a celebration of life being planned for the family and friends later this spring.
