Beverly Johnston, age 72, of Karnak, formerly of Olmsted, passed away at 10:55 A.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at her home.
Beverly was born September 6, 1953 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Century High School in Ullin. Beverly had several jobs over the years, including cooking In local nursing homes. She ran Johnston’s Bait and Tackle in Olmsted for many years. Beverly loved to cook and play bingo. She also loved her cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Johnston of Mound City, her son, Aaron Johnston of Sikeston, Missouri; two granddaughters.
Beverly was preceded in death by her former husband, Bob Johnston.
Per the family’s request, cremation was accorded with services to be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
