The night of September 25th, 2024, Eleanor Marie Myrick, 86, was called to her heavenly home. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Eleanor was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of the Karnak Community High School. Eleanor was a fierce Child of God and all who knew her would agree that the love of Christ was shown through her. Eleanor faithfully attended the Victory Assembly Church in Paducah, Kentucky. She will be greatly missed by all.
Eleanor was born in Boaz, Illinois, on October 29th, 1937. She leaves behind her husband, Alfred (Gene) Myrick (married 69 years), her children, Randy Myrick and Tina (Joe) Rushing, her grandchildren, Daniel (Kristie) Myrick and Megan (Trevor) Jenkins, Christina (Michael) Culp as well as great-grandchildren Brian Myrick, Teagan and Eleanor Jenkins, Wesley and Brentley Culp.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Myrick, her daughter-in-law, Kathy Myrick, her sisters, Verna Heal (Baccus) and Barbara Ellerbusch (Baccus), and parents, Paul and Franzena Baccus.
Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Eleanor Marie Myrick will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Illinois. Rev. Gary Derossett will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Anderson Cemetery in Boaz. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9 A.M. until the service hour.
Pallbearers will be Danny Myrick, Brian Myrick, Steve Ellerbusch, Alan Heal, Robert Heal and Trevor Jenkins.
