Sue Ann Douglas, age 67, of Vienna, Illinois passed away at 8:30 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home.
Sue Ann was born December 12, 1956 in Redbud, Illinois.
She worked at Cousin Fred’s in Sparta and was a grill cook at Brandy’s in Sparta. Sue Ann also did a lot of house cleaning and since moving to Southern Illinois cleaned the Lighthouse at Eagle House Ministries. She adored her one and only grandson, Nolan Barks. Sue enjoyed going to car shows and loved working in her garden and growing flowers. She also loved the lake life and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan. She had attended Eagle House Fellowship and Worship since moving Vienna, IL.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Barks and Kevin Marlow of Coulterville, Illinois; one grandson, Nolan Barks; three brothers, Alan Milligan (Jo Ellen), of Buncombe, Illinois, John Thomas Milligan (Judy) of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Billy Joe McManus (Minnie)
of Edgewood, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her true love, Joe Paulson; parents, Herbert Thomas and Dorothy Mae Thompson Milligan.
Memorial services honoring the life of Mrs. Sue Ann Douglas will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Eagle House Ministries in Buncombe, Illinois. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until the service hour. Pastor Alan Milligan will be officiating. Elizabeth Barks will follow up with arrangements of a Celebration of Life in Sparta, IL
