Barbara “Barb” Sue Harbison, age 90, of Karnak, Illinois passed away at 6:45 P.M. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
Barb was born February 8, 1934 in Belknap, Illinois.
Barb loved having family gatherings. She loved to cook and especially loved to crochet.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy (Jean) Harbison of Swansea, Illinois and James Harbison of Eastern Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Harbison (1994); son, Cecil Harbison; daughter’s, Becky Alsip and Bernell “B-Ann” Hirtz; sister, Phyllis Riley.
Memorial services honoring the life of Mrs. Barbara “Barb” Sue Harbison will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap. Rev. Steve Heisner will be officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
