Joan Fish

Joan Fish, age 85, of Grand Chain passed away at 1:35 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at her home.

Joan was born April 1,1939 in Woodstock, Illinois. She was a graduate of the Woodstock High School. Joan worked many years at the Admiral Corporation in Harvard, Illinois. She had retired from the Millinium Corporation in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Joan was a member of the Ohio Chapel Church in Grand Chain. She was the owner-operator of R & J Treasure Chest in Grand Chain. Joan loved spending time with her family. She was currently serving on the Grand Chain City Council. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her cats

Joan is survived by two daughters, Cynthia McConnell of Woodstock, Illinois and Colleen Nolan (Sean) of Boscobel, Wisconsin; two sons, Ronald Campbell, Sr. (Beverly) of Metropolis, Illinois and Mark Campbell (Lori) of Grand Chain, Illinois; two step sons, Jeff Fish of Baraboo, Wisconsin and Jamie Fish of Crystal Lake, Illinois; one sister, Wendy Strossner of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fish in 2021 and by her first husband, Jack Campbell; parents, Roy and Winifred Stewart Stogsdill.

Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Joan Fish will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Ohio Chapel Church, Grand Chain, Illinois. Pastor Tammy Horn will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Ohio Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10 a.m until the service hour at the Church.

Pallbearers will be Rob Barthell, Ron Kramer, John Nolan, Tony Xelhua, Ken Zwerenz and Noah Zwerenz.
