Wayne A. Clark

Wayne A. Clark, age 89, of Karnak, passed away at 12:15 P.M. Monday, August 31, 2026 at his home.

Wayne was born July 15, 1937 in Laporte, Imn
Indiana.

Wayne was a member of the Joppa Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon and the sunday school superintendent. He belonged to the Brotherhood of the Church. Wayne loved his Church and was very active in it. Wayne retired in 1999 as a truck driver for the Tennessee Farmers Coop.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Thomas) McLelland of Karnak; his son, Allan Lawrence (Deborah) Clark of Brighton, Tennessee; stepchildren, Larry Lane, Janice Jones, Mary Ann Lane, Donna Jean Wethington and Johnny Lane; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Clark; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Clark and Teddy Loren Clark; his parents, Lawrence and Ruth Coring Clark.

Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Wayne A. Clark will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Rev. David Wright will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillerman Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9 A.M. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will be, Douglas McLelland, Christopher McLelland, Thomas McLelland, Anthony McLelland, Allan Clark and Tom McLelland.
